Primary DutiesInspects and tests company vehicles, company box trucks, and company tractor plies with state vehicle and DOT vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control pletes preventative maintenance on vehicles as needed.Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock and placing orders for necessary parts.Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.Perform all other related duties and assignments as neededMinimum Requirements Physical RequirementsPerforming physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials Capability to stand in one place for 80% of the shift (8+ hours per day)Capability to walk throughout department for 20% of the shift (8+ hours per day)Capability to lift to 100 lbs. on a frequent basis withreasonable accommodation.Requires the frequent use of both hands and armsCapability to bend,twist, and squat as needed throughout the shift (8+ hours per day)Must be able to work in a Safety Sensitive Position.RequirementsCDL-A license PreferredAt least 1 -year automotive mechanical experienceExperience with diesel and passenger vehiclesKnowledge of refrigeration: reverse and cold plate refrigeration, and Thermal King Unit refrigeration a plus
