Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Propulsion Project Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level and Experience) to join the team in Everett, WA.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform most work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities The sustaining propulsion integration team is seeking an experienced project engineer.Extensive propulsion systems experience is preferred.A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplined teams to successful resolution of complex technical issues.The project engineer role requires a highly organized engineer who is familiar with certification, production, and engineering processes.The project engineer will lead engineering and business teams through highly complex technical challenges.The project engineer will be proficient in project management tools and is required to be able to effectively translate the complexities of the project into clear and concise presentations to engineering and program leadership.The project engineer will lead teams in definition of requirements.The project engineer will obtain support from external organizations such as suppliers, fabrication, manufacturing, etc necessary to meet program objectives.A successful candidate is capable of taking an objective and charting a course and then utilizes proven leadership skills to lead a team through.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a ''US Person'' as defined by 22 C.F.R § 120.15 is required. ''US Person'' includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Math, PhysicsPreferred Qualifications :Experience working engine commodityExperience working fuel systems1+ years engineering experienceTypical Education/ Experience:Associate Level-2Bachelor''s degree and typically 2 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Mid-Career Level-3Bachelor''s degree and typically 5 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with typically 3 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Experienced Level-4Bachelor''s degree and typically 9 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with typically 7 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
