DescriptionProvidence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinic (Oncology Pulmonary, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Physician Management Group in Spokane, Washington. Interviews patient, documents chief complaint, measures vital signs and accurately records information in EMR. Communicates test results and instructions to patients per practice protocolEducate patient and family about diagnostic procedures, medications, chronic disease management and treatment instructions. Acts as a content expert and clinical resource by providing staff and patient education.Use critical thinking and triage skills to assess patient problems, both in the office and on the phone Determines disposition of patientEstablish priorities in organizing daily activities, effectively manages patient flow and anticipates special equipment, solutions and miscellaneous supplies needed for various proceduresAccurately documents all pertinent information regarding the patient in EMRInstruct patient in collection of samples and tests.
