Responsibilities: Maintain continuous improvement of productivity in the SF Manufacturing department. Perform process audits and ensure supervisors and team leads are performing process audits. Utilize the process audits and take times to ensure we are utilizing employees in the most cost-effective methods. Ensure safety method and behaviors are being followed and promoted in all areas of the production floor. Maintain and improve cross training and flexibility throughout the factory. Maintain and improve the quality of repairs collaborating with the technical resources. Escalation of issues that will lead anything to a nonstandard KPI and identify potential solutions. Improve lean processes to ensure productive repair processes. Continuous improvement of all processes should occur. The first three methods of problem solving should be utilized to solve small issues and improve the areas. Collaborate with Scheduling to ensure new product introduction is easily added into standard production. Mentor and develop the next level of managers and supervisors. Utilize precision leadership to enforce the behaviors we expect for each level of employee in your direction. Ensure all supervisors are utilizing precision leadership with their employees. Plan work of problem solving and kaizen events to improve the knowledge of employees and solve issues. Utilize corporate lean trainings to improve your knowledge of lean as well as improving your direct reports knowledge. Collaborate with Mfg. Eng., SF Machine Maintenance on process improvements, new product releases. Qualifications Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Bachelors degree Emphasis on Engineering (Manufacturing), Industrial Management, or similar preferred. Supervision experience of at least three years. Supervision in a Manufacturing environment preferred. Good technical writing and verbal communication skills required. Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal. Ability to make group presentations. Computer skills: Glovia, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office. Physical Requirements include the ability to: Lift and carry up to 45 pounds. Distinguish and identify wire colors. Work with odors (solder/coating). Maintain handeye coordination. Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment. Demonstrate a positive attitude; be inquisitive, innovative, assertive, self-motivated and goal oriented. Ability to lead a team, to effectively organize work, to work under time pressures, and to solve problems and seek improvement. Knowledge of Industrial Safety. Knowledge of Daktronics products and operations. Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid drivers license and good driving record. Motor vehicle records will be checked.
