Job DescriptionPosition OverviewThe Oracle Career Relaunch program is for those who have had a 1+ career break and it provides the opportunity to re-enter the working world in a full-time position below with benefits, while receiving 12 weeks of specialized onboarding and dedicated mentorship.Are you interested in securing a large-scale distributed SaaS environment? Oracle''s SaaS Cloud Security team is building new technologies that operate at high scale in our broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. The Third Party Penetration Testing team plays a key role in enabling Oracle''s Security vision, identifying vulnerabilities in Oracle SaaS Cloud applications, representing the security of applications to customers and auditors, and implementing a risk-based methodology for vulnerability resolution.The Security Analyst is responsible for coordinating and executing third party penetration testing of Oracle SaaS Cloud applications. This includes developing partnerships with approved vendors to conduct penetration tests in support of regulatory (SOC, HIPAA, PCI) requirements as well a customer-contractual commitments. Analysts will establish relationships with DevOps stakeholders to analyze and assign vulnerabilities for remediation. The analyst will manage and track remediation efforts throughout the third party penetration testing process until resolution.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with approved vendors to schedule penetration testing across Oracle SaaS Cloud applications in support of regulatory requirements and customer commitmentsEstablish partnerships with Security Points of Contact (SPOC), Oracle Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure test findings are assigned, tracked, resolved, and fix-verified according to Oracle standardsDevelop subject matter expertise of application security considerations specific to assigned cloud applications to educate development organizations on vulnerabilities identified via testingExperience in manipulating multiple outputs such as: testing and scanning tools results, in a format for common audience distribution. Provide management level reporting and dashboards on overall risk levels. Facilitate approval and tracking of security-related change control items.QualificationsMust have had a 1+ year career break as this position is a part of the Oracle Career Relaunch Program (understanding of application security considerations and guidance from OWASP and PCI DSSA broad background in information security with experience in security operations, vulnerabilities and exploitation, network security, and cloud security.Attention to detail and exceptional organization necessary to manage multiple testing engagements concurrentlyExcellent written and verbal communications, including presentation skillsProven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and external partiesAbility to script/code using Python, Perl, or an equivalent languageCISSP, GIAC or infrastructure / security architecture certifications are preferredAbout UsDiversity and Inclusion:An Oracle career can span industries, roles, Countries and cultures, giving you the opportunity to flourish in new roles and innovate, while blending work life in.
