Your responsibilitiesThis position is located in Alameda County, CAManage, direct, and implement operation strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of Business Units goals with one of our largest clients. Focus for short-term goals are on-time delivery, cost of sales, quality and gross margin. Focus for long-term goals are the formulation, planning, and implementation of strategies for growth centered around the customer. This position leads a multi-site warehouse and dedicated logistics business.Key Accountabilities:Administer and manage the tkSCS team''s standards of quality to provide a safe working environment across multiple operationsManage the operations function concurrent with Business growth, introduction of new operational systems and meeting division financial objectives/P&L responsibilitiesMeet divisional goals in relation to safety, quality, and on-time delivery of productsDevelop and implement a Lean strategy and corresponding culture to drive continuous improvement.Establish standard work throughout the locationsConceive, research, plan, target, and control reductions in cost and product lead times on existing and new productsContinuously improve customer satisfaction through programs to reduce delinquencies, provide for on-time delivery, and meet customer quality and cos expectationsManage customer expectations and continuously maintain a positive relationship while growing the businessDrive operations with standard processes, in addition to a high-level focus on safety and cultureActively seek customer interfaces to communicate and facilitate customer needs within the organizationParticipate in the implementation of new manufacturing processes, product and systems technology to meet the client''s objectivesEstablish, prepare, implement, revise, and maintain policies and procedures related to client operation support.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements.Your profileMinimum Requirements:Bachelor''s degree in Business or related area.Warehousing or transportation experience is a mustDiversified background with strong operations, business, and managerial skills with a minimum of 10 years of experience managing multiple facilitiesProven history of leading and developing large teams across multiple sites with an ability to foster teamwork and develop future leadersLeadership focused on engagement and culture Operationally driven with standard processes and a high focus on safety and cultureStrong background and experience in the Toyota Production System or similar business system.Demonstrated ability to navigate complex issues while maintaining customer relationshipsProblem solving techniques and analytical thinkingPreferred Requirements:Masters/MBA preferredAutomotive experience preferredYour Benefits With Us
