Farmhouse Restaurant Banquet Server

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Banquet Server to join our team. Your responsibilities will include distributing different kinds of food to guests at special events. Dishes may include passed appetizers where you walk the floor throughout the night, or you may bring various courses to tables at a more formal meal event. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well on a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time in a fast-paced environment. Position reports to General Manager, Banquet Manager and Front of House Managers.Set up tables and banquet hall before the eventAssist with food preparation before and during the eventEnsures that all food and beverages delivered and served are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the quality and presentation standardsServe appetizers and plated dinners to guestsServe and refill alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesClosely observe guests to ensure that they are satisfied with food, beverages, and service; immediately recognize and respond to any guest''s needs and/or requestsAssist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear downPerform all other duties as assigned by managementREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredAt least 19 years old and be available to work weekends and holidays.Previous banquet server/cater waiter experience a plusExcellent customer service skillsMust be able to stand and walk for several hours at a time and lift up to 30 poundsReliable transportationMust be able to communicate clearly and effectivelyCleanliness: Being clean and neat when serving food and drinks will help create a great first impression to your customers.
