Aircraft Fuels Systems Subject Matter Expert: (Tech III) Draken needs an Aircraft Fuels Systems Subject Matter Expert to author, manage, train to and monitor its Hydrazine program. Advises on aircraft fuel systems removal, repair, and installation maintenance procedures and policies. Diagnoses fuel system and component malfunctions. Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques. Manages all aspects of the company Hydrazine program. Advises on aircraft fuel systems removal, repair, and installation maintenance procedures and policies. Diagnoses fuel system and component malfunctions. Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques Plans and organizes aircraft systems maintenance activities. Interprets and implements maintenance directives and publications, including environmentally safe maintenance practices. Establishes production controls and standards. Analyzes maintenance reports of egress, fuel, inflight refueling, hydraulic, and electrical and environmental aircraft systems. Determines resource requirements. Coordinates with supply, operations, and other activities to improve procedures and resolve problems. Directs, controls, and performs aircraft systems maintenance activities. Directs maintenance personnel employed in removing, disassembling, inspecting, repairing, reassembling, installing, testing, and modifying egress, fuel, hydraulic, in-flight refueling, and electrical and environmental aircraft systems and components. Solves maintenance problems with aircraft systems and related equipment. Inspects and evaluates aircraft systems maintenance work and activities. Evaluates work of compliance and directives, policies, and standards. Inspects maintenance activities and evaluates resource use. Interprets inspection findings and recommends corrective action Authors manage, train to and monitor the company''s Hydrazine response plan Ensures all required employees are properly trained and resources to conduct: F-16 Hydrazine tank servicing Hydrazine maintenance/emergency start systems Nitrogen/Hydrazine systems leak check Hydrazine detector usage Hydrazine collector/detector usage Hydrazine Analyzer usage Hydrazine emergency response Duties and ResponsibilitiesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma required/GED Must speak, read, write, and understand English Travel may be required Must be able to workday shift, night shifts or weekend duty and travel as part of as required Must have an in-depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle movement, flight line operations, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read, interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings and technical orders Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel Obtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X/IPI certification A&P Desired but not a requirement Obtain/maintain security clearance KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES Great attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced, hands-on environment Flexibility, team orientation, ability and willingness to learn Effective Communication Skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations Ability to work in extreme weather Ability to wear protective equipment correctly most of the shift Field Label Qualifications REQUIRED DOCUMENTS Federal law requires all employers to verify the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States.
