Teams also optimize operations, product, and material flows, and create greater synergy for the supply network to optimize mission performance.Qualifications Required: Bachelor''s degree in Energy Policy, Electrical Engineering, Business, Energy Economics, or related discipline15 years of professional experience working on energy sector issues within the electricity sector, with demonstrated experience working with power utilities, regulators/ public utility commissions, system operators, transmission companies, renewable energy developers, among other sector entitiesExperience managing and providing technical expertise to multi-disciplinary teams in domestic and international capacities and working across different geographiesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureMust be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role Preferred: Master''s degreeExperience advising and working with government entities, international organizations, and/or multilateral donors on technical areas, specifically related to power sector, electricity markets, and utility reform topics Experience working with private companies in the power sector (e.g., vendors, utility companies, system operators, grid technology companies) and familiarity with recent technology and decarbonization market trends and the impact of climate policyExperience working in international (non-US) jurisdictions with national governments and mining ministriesExperience prioritizing tasks and managing assignments in a collaborative, geographically dispersed team environmentSkilled in technical writing, including the ability to draft and develop technical subject matter reports for high level audiencesSkilled in written communication and documentation, including spreadsheet & presentation software (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.), attention to detail.Specific experience in one or more of the following Power Sector topics:Software and methodologies to integrate and optimize renewable energy for electric gridsExperience with installing, deploying, and managing new renewable energy and storage technologiesExperience with grid optimization technologies, transitions to digitized and connected systems within a utility, IoT devicesExperience with generation, transmission, and distribution planning and associated methodologiesExperience in low emissions transport, electric vehicles, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, particularly related to financing and tariffs methodologies, fleet management and maintenanceExperience utilizing advanced energy modeling software and electric power sector industry models to produce analysesKnowledge of market operation, pricing, and regulatory policies in North American RTOs/ISOs a plusLI-CM10 Recruiting tips From developing a stand out resume to putting your best foot forward in the interview, we want you to feel prepared and confident as you explore opportunities at Deloitte.
