Central Placement Specialist must have a working knowledge of the capabilities of all the nursing centers and services in the network. The Central Placement Specialist ensures an immediate response to all inquiries/referrals and the appropriate pre-admission tasks are completed.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Responds to all referrals and inquiries in a professional manner. This may include but is not limited to selling the network, explaining finances, communicating intake information, and transfer of information to appropriate facility/entity for scheduling of admission/appointments; Follows up on all referrals and inquiries at specified intervals for the purpose of measuring client satisfaction as well as tracking of client needs; Completes intake process in a timely manner and coordinates appropriate service delivery. Input all referrals into Point Click Care (PCC) via Customer Relationship Manager (CRM). Maintains a positive working relationship with all referral sources/customers; Maintains a positive working relationship with all Care One Centers and Service entities; Effectively markets Care One services via the Central Placement 800 number; Participates in the ''on call'' and weekend rotation; Performs other related duties as assigned including Benefits Verifications with inputting detailed benefit into CRM, Pre Authorization and Screening for which cross training is required.QualificationsPosition Requirements:* Associate or Undergraduate degree in Business or health related field or equivalent work related experience.* Background in Skilled Nursing Center admissions and/or call center preferred.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills requiredShiftOther
