Job DescriptionProvides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization''s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.Business Analyst Responsibilities:Analyze data and use it to create reports and trends, which are then submitted to managers and used for business planning, Go-to-market, and building of campaigns and strategies to grow revenue for the North America Cloud Growth accounts.Manipulate data from various sources to conduct complex analysis using tools like excel, power bi, data science reporting and modeling tools.Maintain good relationships with other lines of business and VPs you are supporting and develop new relationships when the opportunities present themselves.Facilitate good communication between and provide leadership for teams working on a project.Report business process or systems project details and progress to the appropriate manager on a regular basis.Track project schedules and make sure that projects are being completed on time; in the event of unexpected delays, adjust schedules as necessary.Set specific goals for projects and ensure that these goals are being met.Evaluating business processes, understand and articulate / document requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.Performing requirements analysis.Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.Ensuring systems and processes meet business needs and requirements.Performing user acceptance testing.Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.Serving as a liaison across sales groups and other lines of business, finance, global operations, Chief of Staff, Enablement teams, etc.Managing competing resources and priorities.Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.Business Analyst Requirements:A bachelors degree in business or related field or an MBA.A minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.Advanced technical skills.Excellent documentation skills.Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Experience creating detailed reports and giving petency in Microsoft applications including Word, especially Excel, Power BI and Outlook.
