Sign On Bonus up to $13,000 (based on experience)Caromont''s 4 North Intermediate Care Unit is a blended unit with a dedicated charge nurse which combines a 12-bed Heart Failure Telemetry Unit and a 25-bed Cardiovascular Surgery Unit.+ + Cardiovascular Surgical Unit (CVSU) specializes in the care of the post cardio-thoracic surgery patient with Coronary Artery Bypass, Valve replacements/ TAVR, PFO/ASD, VATS procedure s and more. Nursing responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, and collaboration with cardio-thoracic surgeons as part of a multidisciplinary team. We strive to provide our patients a therapeutic environment that promotes optimal healing and recovery. Job Summary: To render professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital. Collaborates with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care. Performs all activities in accordance with approved policies and guides. Supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillary personnel. Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). Recent acute care experience within past 3 years preferred. Critical Care experience strongly preferred. Meets general hospital and departmental competency requirements.
