Director of Housekeeping

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivational leader to take on the Director of Housekeeping position at one of our Presidian Hotels. this person will manages the staff and controls the daily activities of the Housekeeping Department assuring that our Guest Rooms, Banquet Areas, Public Areas, and Employee Areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness. They will be responsible for handling guest interactions and issues in a timely manner. The Director of Housekeeping must be able to conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed. They will works directly with staffing agencies to ensure proper staffing levels are met at all times for the property. The Director of Housekeeping will select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, and coach all employees in the Hotel''s Housekeeping Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met. They will also assures financial goals of the Housekeeping department are met as well based on the standards set forth by the General manager of the property. This role has direct contact with guests and as such good communication skills are a necessity. This position does requires an applicant with a flexible schedule, who is able to work morning/afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays.
