This person will functionally support the service organization across multiple product families for a given regional location. The planner will work closely with Sales/Marketing, internal product and supply planning, technical PSO rep as well as logistics teams in order to track installed base growth, demand trends, manage regional inventory levels and the overall spares support for their region. The planner will also be looking for ways to optimize the spares stocking strategy while maintaining customer satisfaction. The planner will work closely with field teams to understand customer concerns and performance and act as liaison to internal support groups, ensuring robust support plans to meet entitlements.ResponsibilitiesSingle point of contact for regional counterparts on the Spares Demand Planning team.Manage communications and messaging between customer regions and internal planning counterparts.Drive Spares Delivery Performance across all products for your region by reviewing stocking levels, replenishments, field demand behavior and upcoming ramp.Translate regional/customer requests into a problem statement for review with HQ team. Driving appropriate review and response to fieldEnsure that established fill rate performance targets and service commitments are incorporated into the Global Spares Plan.Monitor and report out Fill Rate Performance v. Fill Rate Targets and Planned vs. Actual InventoryPerform miss analysis and drive cross-functional actions that impact current and future Fill Rate performanceExcellent communication/presentation, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must be self-driven, independent, yet a strong team player.Ability to recognize process gaps and drive improvements holistically across cross functional teamsConduct ramp readiness reviews for spares support within assigned region. Ensuring spare plan coverage sufficient to meet entitlement requirements during customer rampMinimum QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor''s degree plus 3+ years of related experience. BS or BA, preferably in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics.High proficiency in MS Excel; MS Access. Data Base, SQL a plusCritical thinking and strong analytical skills: ability to collect, organize, and analyze data to support demand and supply optimization.Ability to work well on cross-functional teams. Must be a teammate.Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with ambiguity, identify gaps, and implement innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency. Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve sophisticated issues in creative and effective ways.Successful candidate must have clear sense of urgency and adaptability to fast moving and highly competitive industry.Be process-oriented and results-driven.Should enjoy a challenging and fast paced environment.Ability to work well on cross-functional teams in multiple locations and time zones.
