Ability to pass the Serve Safe Exam within 6 months of hire or already have passed and is current. Knowledge of or experience with use of major equipment in food preparation. Experience with cash register preferred. Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills. Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand on feet for long periods of time. Willingness to take Unit Classes and Cooks Classes if not already completed within the first year. Performance Responsibilities: Work in a fast-paced environment on set time schedules. Work as part of a team to complete all meals and serve students. Use equipment for food preparation. Follow instructions in detail. Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. Flexibility with schedule for additional events. Perform any other tasks assigned or that are necessary to help complete the day''s assignments. Terms of Employment: Ten-Month Employee 4.0 Hours Daily Salary and Benefits: Salary range and benefits are commensurate with qualifications and experience in accordance with Board of Education Policy. Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board''s policy on evaluation of personnel.
