With existing locations in Boston, Chicago, Hollywood, CA and Tampa, The Godfrey Hotel Detroit is the next critical expansion in the rapidly growing brand and an exciting opportunity to build on and solidify the Godfrey reputation as a unique, guest-centric lifestyle hotel. The Godfrey Hotel Detroit, Curio Collection by Hilton will be located in the heart of rapidly evolving Corktown along Michigan Ave. and will have 227 comfortably contemporary guestrooms and suites; a ground-floor signature restaurant; downtown Detroit''s largest ballroom; and a rooftop bar/lounge with retractable roof and window walls that offer panoramic views of the Detroit skyline from the heart of its oldest and most storied neighborhood. Position Summary The Director of Sales will be a pivotal leader at the hotel during both pre and post-opening. Energy, dynamism, and an ability to get things done are crucial qualities. The position will require strong knowledge of local demand drivers, excellent selling skills, revenue management savvy, sales team motivational skills, a creative mind for marketing and business development, and a keen understanding of prioritization and the ability to switch gears accordingly. Godfrey Hotels quickly grow into neighborhood hubs offering stimulating environments for guests and locals alike.
