General Description: The coordinator, trade show sales is responsible for providing administrative support for multiple managers with selling and marketing Atlanta and Georgia as a destination to corporate groups, associations, trade shows and conventions utilizing greater than 1200 rooms on peak night. In addition, this individual assists with the coordination of the sales team''s activities with trade show exhibits and industry events while maintaining sales process logistics for designated trade show accounts. Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to) Sales Support • Qualify leads to include identification of group schedule, room night needs and convention center space• Send leads to hotels and convention center, execute appropriate follow-up• Assist with preparing bid presentations for destination/site selection committee • Assist with coordinating customer site inspections• Distribute definite booking and lost information to all parties involved in the lead process• Maintain schedule and travel itineraries for managers• Prepare sales kits• Coordinate logistics for Wednesday Morning Meetings Trade Shows & Industry Events • Coordinate planning process for trade show and industry events (exhibit setup, collateral, etc)• Organize pre-planning and post show meetings• Coordinate ACVB participation at industry events and trade shows General Administration • Assist with maintaining programs, projects and expenses according to ACVB guidelines Other Related ACVB Activities • Maintain a positive working relationship with ACVB members • Ensure all account details and activity are documented in CRM • Maintain current knowledge of member hotels (inventory), venues, restaurants and attractions • Attend ACVB, member, and hospitality related events as directed • Provide additional support to department projects and related ACVB programs as directed • Stay up-to-date with hospitality industry trends
