Job Description

Position Summary:Provides individual, group, family or couples psychotherapy. The therapist collaborates in a multi-disciplinary setting with other Emily Program clinicians to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and his or her family.Duties and Responsibilities:Develops, implements, and coordinates services, and monitors and evaluates individualized treatment plansConducts assigned group counseling sessionsCollaborates with the Emily Program staff, community professionals, and community agencies in coordinating care services and maintaining continuity of careIdentifies, supports, and evaluates clinical quality, and client-satisfaction improvement initiatives; completes assigned studies, audits, and ongoing monitoring of performance indicatorsParticipates in case consultationMaintains clinical records in compliance with The Emily Program policies and regulatory standardsMay participate in quality assessment/peer review of documentationProvides clinical supervision as needed and appropriate based on licensureMaintains clinical records in compliance with The Emily Program policies and regulatory standardsMaintains at all times the confidentiality of proprietary information and any client''s or employee''s medical, financial, or personal information, records, and data to which there is accessMaintains and enhances knowledge of current clinical practice, strategies, and developments through participation in his or her professional organization; attending related seminars, workshops, and conferences; and reviewing the literaturePrepares and submits accurate, timely billing records as per Program requirementsAttends regular staff meetingsDrive clients, staff, and supplies in the company vehicle as needed.Performs other duties as assignedQualifications:Current license in the state of employment required (LP, LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LMHC)Individual & family psychotherapy experience requiredMust have valid driver''s license and be authorized to drive.Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 14 days from date of hireDBT experience preferredMinnesota and OhioNo additional qualificationsWashington ResidentialWashington State Food and Beverage Service Worker''s Permit obtained within 30 days of employmentCompetencies:Exhibits passion for our clients, values, and organizationDemonstrates excellent clinical customer service using therapeutic communication skills to build strong client relationships and improve outcomesParticipates in providing clinically competent care by self/staff/team through education, role modeling, teambuilding, clinical documentation and quality monitoringUses leadership, team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to build partnerships within and across systemEngages in self-evaluation process, seeking feedback regarding own practice, from clients, peers, professional colleagues and othersWorkplace Requirements:Sitting 70-75% and Standing 25-30%.Bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping or crouching when appropriate, on occasion.Lift, carry, push or pull up to approx. 40 pounds (supplies, etc.)
