Demand Planning and Forecast Analyst

Description: The Demand & Forecast Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining sales forecasts and demand planning for all manufactured Tides Medical products. The activities include building and monitoring historical sales and shipment data, calculating baseline forecasts, working with multi-department stakeholders to establish incremental forecasts for product launches as well as other sales initiatives. Demand & Forecast Analyst will work closely with sales to create assumption-based rolling projections for future product launches. In addition, the role is expected to maintain all demand planning related tools (ERP system activities), and maintain historical data sources.Essential FunctionsThe Demand & Forecast Analyst is expected to perform the following in accordance with AATB, FDA, and Tides Medical stated policies and procedures while upholding Tides Medical''s mission and corporate values:Calculating statistical baseline forecastsCreating statistical modeling based on historical informationReviewing historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate actuals vs. projected forecast resultsInitiating and managing forecast collaboration meetings with multi-department stakeholdersReview prior month''s forecast accuracy and assess rolling forecastAnalyzing actual sales and emerging trends in comparison to forecastsDeveloping and maintaining very strong relationships with customer service and sales team members through listening and communication skills to ensure an effective sales forecasting processBuilding new product launch or extension forecasts to support company growthProvide input in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outsCommunicating with distribution and production to provide information on daily/ weekly changes to demandMaintaining accuracy of all production and inventory, including any forecast modeling within ERP systemAdditional functions may include:Track, assess, and report performance to production goalsImplements metrics in coordination with production management Perform quality assurance reviews ensuring data integrity for production dataIn-depth knowledge of inventory management systems to accurately track and log transactions as requiredWorks with external departments that are internal customers for Tides productionWorks with shipping and customer service to ensure inventory levels are adequate and meeting customer needsProvides input and cooperatively supports internal customers to productionTrains new personnel on inventory management processes and/or ERP system Requirements: Bachelor''s Degree3-5 years of work experience in Forecasting, Sales Analysis, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory ManagementDemonstrated history of working cooperatively in a team environment with multiple process stakeholdersExperienced in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.)Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills (written & verbal)Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments (basic project management skills)Proficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong problem solving and analysis skillsAbility to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple prioritiesAbility to work across the organization and collaborateSelf-motivated and action oriented with capability to develop necessary skills required Remote work flexible, with minimum of 25% on-site availabilityTravel may be required depending on locationWork EnvironmentPhysical demands:Must be able to stand for the full duration of a shiftMust be able to lift a minimum of 25 poundsMust be able to write clearly and legibly Mental demands:Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workloadMust be able to complete tasks independently This job requires potential exposure to biohazardous materials containing blood and human tissue.
