We are looking for an Exec Chef for a leading Greek restaurant part of a large restaurant group. Executive Chef for Greek Restaurant Part of a leading restaurant group Located in Raleigh, North Carolina Direct kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleanup Assign tasks; supervise chefs and cooks in the preparation and presentation of food Maintain control of the kitchen to ensure that all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively Resolve issues as they arise so that customers continue to receive their orders in a timely manner Make sure that all kitchen and wait staff adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee that the highest quality products are prepared and served to customers Collaborate with the general manager and owner to align kitchen operations with the overarching goals of the establishment Direct monthly inventory Maintain vendor relationships Maintain kitchen equipment; schedule repairs and additional maintenance as needed Train team and staff and be a leader to the kitchen team Requirements 2+ years kitchen management experience as Sous Chef or higher Greek experience preferred Able to start within 2 weeks Strong track record and references Benefits Salary 60,000 - 70,000 negotiable on experience Life insurance Disability insurance Health, Dental and Vision 2 weeks PTO 401k match up to 3% Performance bonus paid quarterly
