There is never a dull moment with us.Group/DivisionThe Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Assembly of various sensitive optical and electronic componentsFinal assembly, test, certification, and packaging of measurement instruments and accessories for shipment to customersRoutine inventory controlRelated administrative tasks as assignedExperienceRelevant work experience and/or education will be consideredPrevious work with small, delicate partsProficiency in soldering and creating wire harnesses is a plus!Skills/InterestsStrong attention to detailWillingness to ask questionsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentA knack for keeping your work area clutter-freeComfortable safely using hand toolsAbility to read and follow assembly documents in their entiretyMust be available to work day shift hoursMinimum QualificationsHS Graduate or Equivalent.
