QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree from a regionally accredited institutionExperience with relational databases and SQL including packages, schemas, tables, views, and proceduresAbility to work and learn independently; good initiative, self-motivation, communication and organizational skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to provide input in a team environmentAbility to learn new technology and software as they are introduced into the work environmentAbility to research and solve problems independently using a variety of tools including online knowledge bases, online documentation, printed manuals, etc. Preferred Qualifications: A combination of extensive experience and education as listed below are highly desirableExperience as an Ellucian Banner/Oracle programmer (Student/Financials/HR)Experience with Evisions Argos and Form FusionExperience with an integrated enterprise database (Banner preferred)Proficiency in Oracle SqlExperience with RedHat Linux and Microsoft WindowsExperience working in a university environmentJob ConceptsReporting to the Associate Director of Enterprise Applications, the Enterprise Applications Programmer/Analyst is responsible for functions related to developing, programming, integrating, testing and implementation of applications in support of Ellucian''s Banner software. Essential job functions include: analyze user needs and develop solutions to meet documented requirements; Develop and maintain administrative applications; develop reports using Evisions products Argos and Form Fusion.
