You will be accountable to meet quality, test cost, and customer delivery goals, as well as forecast commitments to both engineering and operations, and develop/track focused performance metrics. Key Role & Responsibilities: Own Strategic Test Roadmap for Audio products, Final Test and Probe Ability to influence direct reports, peers, customers, and vendors Efficient and effective deployment of the team''s resources Always considering new testing tools to improve products Purposeful hiring, development, and succession plans for team Supporting long term profitable growth for the companySuccessful behaviors will include: Meeting with employees (one-on-one and as a team on a regular basis). Ability to work in a dynamic team and be adaptable culturallyShort DescriptionQualifications: BS in Engineer, MS Engineering, Engineering Management Ten (10) years experience in related engineering and/or information technologies field with management experience The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years managing teams and demonstrated ability in performance and change management. In addition, the candidate should be recognized as an expert in audio measurement techniques, equipment and software, and have a track record in managing high-performance teams. Overseeing Test engineering disciplines Solid understanding of audio test, wireless and SOC Hands-on experience in firmware development for test Familiarity with commonly used tools and engineering application Clear understanding of how test development and deployment affect product costs and quality Ability to manage Test to ramp in high volumes Strong understanding of audio fundamentals, PA fundamentals, 2G/2.5G/3G/4G systems, industry-standard test methods, test equipment operation, capabilities, limitations, trouble-shooting, and automation are critical for success. Expertise in using Audio/RF instruments including signal generators, VSA, VNA, oscilloscope, power meters. Experience in test routine software development using Java, C++/C, LabVIEW, or similar scripting language is essential.
