HYBRID Work Arrangement - This role is considered a hybrid position that is within a commutable driving distance to the Summit, New Jersey office to work onsite 1-2 days per week and attend occasional in person meetings / events as required.The Opportunity The Senior Communications Business Partner, North America Commercial Operations is responsible for the development and delivery of effective communications strategies that drive uptake of CSL Seqirus'' portfolio and build the CSL Seqirus corporate brand within the North America region.The role serves as the primary communications business partner to the CSL Seqirus North America Commercial Operations team. The incumbent will be an active, participating member and assist with planning, oversight, and development of Communication initiatives and execution ensuring all communications, both internal and external, are aligned with Commercial and Company business priorities. The Role Lead development of the North America Commercial Operations communications strategy, in alignment with the Global communications strategy to position CSL Seqirus'' portfolio and build awareness of the CSL Seqirus brand in North America.Create and implement comprehensive communications programs in North America to help drive commercial outcomes for seasonal and pandemic influenza brands, tailoring messages, materials and tactics for the U.S. and Canadian markets, and ensuring CSL Seqirus'' global brand positioning is reflective in North America Commercial content.Leverage the global calendar of key product milestones, including scientific presentations, journal publications and regulatory submissions/approvals to generate ongoing new flow and support telling our CSL Seqirus Commercial story.Serve as strategic communications lead on annual events and programming designed to tell our North America CSL Seqirus Commercial story to internal/external stakeholders.Anticipate product and corporate reputation risks, proactively preparing risk mitigation communications and collaborating with colleagues across functions/teams to address issues when they arise.Support annual planning, budget oversight, and development of Communications initiatives that support broader CSL Seqirus Commercial and Enterprise-wide goals.Ensure continuous content contribution in specific area of responsibilities for CSL Group''s "owned" multimedia publishing channels (e.g., CSL Seqirus Vita, CSL News, CSL NOW employee app) for both internal and external stakeholders/audiences. Metrics and analytics to be established and tracked.Provide strategic counsel to North America CSL Seqirus Commercial leaders, partnering with the VP, Commercial Operations, North America to effectively communicate to the North America Commercial Operations function via employee/internal communications.Direct ongoing executive visibility and thought leadership activity in partnership with the VP, Commercial Operations, North America and other members of the CSL Seqirus Leadership Team based in North America.Coordinate closely with communications and HR colleagues at North America CSL Seqirus Commercial locations to provide strategic counsel on local communications initiatives that support broader North America CSL Seqirus Commercial goals.Champion best practices and lead by example, with consistent engagement across the business in North America including frequent interaction with Policy and Medical Affairs teams.Supervise public relations agency on workflow, budget management and metrics/performance reporting.Accountable for Commercial Operations communications (including local site affiliates'' employees) in North AmericaYour skills and experience Bachelor''s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or closely related field7+ years'' experience in strategic communicationsPharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience highly desirableTrack record of working with senior leaders within an organizationExcellent written and spoken communication skills, strong presentation but diplomatic presenceOur Benefits Seqirus is committed to attracting and retaining world-class employees who are valued for their contributions to achieving business objectives.
