Job Description

OverviewThe Total Rewards Specialist will assist in the administration of all employee benefit and compensation programs. We are looking for someone to be based out of our Boston Harbor offices, or our corporate offices in The Woodlands, TX. However, for the right candidate we are open to consider elsewhere. Essential Job Functions -Provides excellent customer service to property locations and Home Office team members for benefit-related questions and issues. Serves as the front-line for both HR and employee inquiries. -Assists with the management of the Benefit Administration System (Workday) - including plan configuration and set up; configuration for property transitions; Open Enrollment configuration; reporting; testing. -Liaises with all benefit carriers, insurance brokers, and properties to ensure Benefit Programs function properly. Works with the various vendors to resolve issues, updates member records as required, and handles benefit related reporting from the carriers. Updates carriers with HR contacts as appropriate. -Responsible for the monthly benefits billing process. -Assists with Hotel Due Diligence and/or Transition projects. Works closely with Benefits Manager and VP of Benefits on completing analysis, compiling data, and reporting for transitions. Creates the benefit keys for all new properties. -Assists with benefits and wellbeing-related communication and training to the properties and Home Offices. Updates SharePoint, benefit microsites, and/or Workday Drive with new benefit information as it becomes available. -Assists with the Wellbeing program including communication, reporting, and maintenance. -Provides support for Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance. Assists with reviewing ACA compliance alerts, audits, and eligibility. -Administer the Home Office Commuter Benefit Program -Create new job codes / job titles in Workday as needed -Assist in the annual merit process -Assist as needed on annual Incentive Plans for both Properties and Home Office. Duties could include communication, reporting, incentive calculations, Workday updates, etc. -Assist with salary survey submission process. -Maintain salary structure, grades, etc in Workday. -Other duties and responsibilities as assignedResponsibilities Essential Qualifications -Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent education/experience required -Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment -Knowledge of Federal & State laws pertaining to HR -Excellent written & verbal communication -Must be detail oriented -Strong analytical, problem-solving & organization skills -Familiarity with Workday preferred but not required -Ability to multitask in a demanding environment -Microsoft Office skills required - a high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint requiredPI187502201
