About the Talent TeamThe Talent Team at College Board shapes the workforce that will positively impact millions of students across the world. The team is responsible for designing, building, and implementing effective Talent strategies to deliver business results.About the RoleYou will be a member of the Talent Generalist Team where you will support the execution, design, and implementation of College Board''s total rewards philosophy, policies, and systems. You will work closely with the Talent Generalists who provide first line support to our staff. You are in a unique position to have a huge impact on the vision and direction of Total Rewards in partnership with the Director, Total Rewards & Talent Generalists. The goal is to provide strategic support and subject matter expertise to the team, while managing all aspects of benefits administration, including vendor relationships, compliance & reporting, annual open enrollment, and daily benefits tasks.Responsibilities:Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Help set the vision and philosophy for Total RewardsMaintain vendor relationships by attending monthly meetingsManage escalated benefits issuesProcess and track all vendor billing Ensure all COBRA and retiree elections are processed and tracked monthlyRecommend and create improvements to our processesWork with our Legal and Workday Teams for annual compliance reportingCreate educational virtual events to connect our staff to their benefits Plan, test, and administer Open Enrollment in partnership with the GeneralistsRegularly analyze our benefits with our broker to ensure our Total Rewards package attracts and retains the best talentRequirementsBachelor''s degree in human resources, business, finance, or a related field2 years of experience as a benefits administrator or in a similar roleWorking knowledge of relevant policies and regulationsStrong MS Excel skillsBe a team playerStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical capabilitiesAttention to detailExperience managing retiree and COBRA benefits Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) preferred
