Azure DevOps Engineer

The position of Azure DevSecOps Engineer plays a critical role in overseeing and administering the day-to-day support of Driverses Azure tenant(s) and subscriptions. This position is responsible for supporting with deployment release process, implementation, management, and maintenance of Driverses customer facing hosted solutions in Azure. This position will serve as the primary liaison between the IT & Cyber Security team and our Hosted Services Providers and other third parties.WHAT YOU WILL DOManagement of back-end systems, services and processes running in Azure.Administer cloud infrastructure, performing cost analysis, resource allocation, application deployments/release management, and change management.Deploy Azure VM''s on production platforms, managing resource groups, and improving key distribution platform capacity and KPI.Design, build, and modify code release pipelines.Research, implement and oversee best practices and guidelines for cloud operations and processes.Manage server performance, reliability, and scalability to ensure 24 x 7 up-time of these hosted subscriptions.Optimize for scalability, efficiency and maintainability in cost-effective and practical ways.Other duties as assigned.WHO YOU AREMinimum of 5 years of professional work experience in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or DevOpsMinimum of 2 years serving as the primary administrator of a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)Understanding of Git and gitflow requiredExperience working with Microsoft SQL, MySQL, or SQLlite a plusExperience working with Redgate tools a plusLooking for a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to multi-task and achieve multiple competing deadlinesStrong communication skills and customer service experienceStrong communication, written and verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills are a mustCandidate must have strong teamwork qualities with the ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with peers, customers and managementDemonstrate initiative to learn new technologies o Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, including strong presentation skillsDemonstrated dedication to and leadership of continuous process improvementAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and look at all situations objectivelyDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with varying team membersAbility to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment requiredAbility to travel by automobile or commercial airlineAssociates Degree in Computer Science, Programming, Engineering, or equivalentWHO IS VONTIERVontier is a $3B global industrial technology company focused on smarter transportation and mobility.
