SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Electrical Engineer for Payload/Mission Module Design. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: SEACORP''s Surface/Undersea Technology Integration businessarea is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 0-3 years of applicable workexperience. Our Advanced Systems Integration task area specializes in designand development of prototype and production systems for installation on US Navyvessels. System designs include shipboard alterations and payloads/missionmodules for unmanned/minimally manned platforms. Tasking includes conceptdevelopment, engineering design, drawing and documentation development,analysis, production, testing, and installation support for Department ofDefense (DoD) and industry partners. The Electrical Engineer will join a multi-disciplinaryengineering team and support design and development of payloads, containerizedsystems, mission modules, Temporary Alterations (TEMPALTs), and other prototypeand production systems for installation on US Navy vessels. The Electrical Engineerwill develop system-level drawings, schematics, and diagrams. They willcomplete design of individual cable/harness assemblies. They will supportdevelopment of Technical Data Packages (TDP) for various ship classes in the USNavy fleet, including submarines, surface ships, and unmanned platforms.Typical tasking includes design and analysis of RF architecture, powerdistribution design/analysis/balancing, interconnecting cable design, andevaluation of various subsystems/components for integration into existingarchitecture. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor''s level degree in Electrical/ElectronicsEngineering. Essential Capabilities: * Developend-to-end system engineering drawings and interconnect diagrams in CADsoftware* Selectand/or design various cable types (e.g., copper, fiber, ethernet, RF) usingmilitary standards* Selectand/or design cables, equipment, and components to meet ElectromagneticInterference (EMI) best practices and/or military standards* Powersystem design and analysis (e.g., power distribution and load balancing)* Examinationof equipment Interface Control Documents (ICD) and Government FurnishedInformation (GFI) for integration of systems into existing architecture* Selectionof mil-spec and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) materials as warranted* Experiencewith RF system component or cable design and analysis is a plus.* Knowledgeof mil-standard environmental testing (e.g., MIL-STD-461 EMI, DOD-STD-1399power) is a plus.* Travelto various naval stations and/or test facilities may be required on a limitedbasis.* Team oriented with the ability to interface with otherengineers, logisticians, and technicians.* Self-drivento take on responsibility and accountability for workmanship and productdeadlines.* Experience,familiarity, and/or working knowledge with single and three-phase powerdistribution design and EMI is preferred.* Familiaritywith commercial engineering practices, materials, electrical installationstandard methods and other trade skills a plus. * Experiencewith AutoCAD software is a plus.
