SUMMARY As a Nurse (LPN) in Hemodialysis, your specialized skill set and ability to collaborate with the Registered Nurse is vital to exceptional patient care. STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: BayCreek Dialysis DEPARTMENT: Dialysis SCHEDULE: Day and Evening Schedule with an every other Saturday rotation ATTRIBUTES Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills Willingness and ability to work early morning shifts Friendly, compassionate and patient focused RESPONSIBILITIES Patient Care & Evaluation. Conduct a thorough assessment of each patient''s medical status upon admission and throughout the patient''s course of treatment; provide regular patient status updates Treatment Administration. Assist in the implementation of the patient''s treatment plan under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN); initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments using multiple access sites; administer IVP medications to dialysis patients Documentation.
