LABOR CATEGORY : Functional Area Analyst - Senior AEYON POSITION TITLE : SME, and/or Manager (I, II, III, or IV based on career ladder) LOCATION : Fort Detrick, MD JOB DESCRIPTION : Aeyon is seeking candidates with relevant skills to provide support to the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery''s (BUMED) Expeditionary Medical Logistics program. Ideally, seeking a candidate with prior experience in Department of Defense Medical Logistics. The candidate will assist the BUMED EML program office in monitoring Deployable Medical Systems (DEPMEDS) and develop and implement guidance for medical and dental equipment requirements. The contractor will contribute to modernization processes within the EML program through: Research of future sea-based logistics initiatives supporting expeditionary medical capabilities and missions Design of DEPMEDS assets (i.e., Role 2 and Role 3 Echelons of Care) Authorized Medical and Dental Allowance Listing (AMAL/ADAL) Reviews Development and maintenance of various applicable guidance and policy Familiarity with key logistical software applications (i.e., Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), Medical Contingency Requirements Workflow (MCRW), Reporting and Analytics (Formerly Joint Medical Asset Repository) CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Secret required. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Mandatory: Bachelor''s Degree Waivable/Substitutable: Education may be substituted for additional relevant experience with Medical Logistics. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : Mandatory: None required; discipline-related certifications preferred. Waivable/Substitutable: PMP is not required, but preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Navy (or equivalent Joint Service) Medical Logistics programs. Demonstrated experience and ability to lead or supervise a team performing management work. Business Systems/Tools: The candidate must have institutional knowledge and experience of the below business systems: Navy Deployable Medical Systems (DEPMEDS) Department of Defense Medical Logistics Software Applications (i.e., DMLSS) ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS : This position may require CONUS and/or OCONUS travel between 0-20%. Ability to effectively communicate orally and written.
