The candidate will participate in tradition patient care, MCOM educational duties such as teaching and precepting as well as research opportunities within the department. This position is designed for a physician to practice Family Medicine with reasonable skill and safety. The candidate must be licensed in Florida and able to be credentialed as a participatn in the MCOM Faculty Practice Plan who is privileged to perform the essential functions of a Family Medicine physician and be a Medical Staff member in good standing in the hospitals or health care organizations where they are assigned to perform clinical and/or teaching duties.RESPONSIBILITIES:We are seeking applicants to who want to pursue full scope academic family medicine. Clinical days and times will vary, however, the majority of the clinical duties will be providing primary care services within the Department of Family pletions of teaching duties including but not limited to precepting students in clinic, teaching a doctoring course, participating as a SELECT coach.Become involved as possible with different research projects already existing within the Family Medicine Department and further the research footprint for Family Medicine at USF cluding but not limited to clinical administrative duties, faculty administrative needs, publication administration, etc and other duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:MINIMUM:MD Degree and Board of Certification in Family Medicine, Understanding of the academic medicine and faculty participation in the education mission of health professions, Current, or eligible, for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Florida
