Work includes responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients physical therapy plan of treatment.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of one year practicing as a Physical Therapist preferred.New grad are welcome with mentorship program.Possess and maintain a current license as a Physical Therapist from the MD State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.Therapists needed in Charles, St. Mary''s and Calvert CountiesRESPONSIBILITIES:Conducts a complete physical evaluation in order to determine appropriate treatment in accordance with the functional level of the patient.Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates patients for appropriate PT pletes a plan of care that is thorough with measurable short and long-term goals.Provides physical therapy interventions and procedures according to the MD State Practice Act, to manage patient functional limitation and provide instruction to patients and families to manage functional deficits/limitations.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:The Full Time Physical Therapist will work a rotating Saturday schedule.Maintain current CPR certification.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items weighing over 20 pounds.
