It supports automated feature extraction, physical and activity models, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT) resilience. Role and Responsibilities: * Support the creation of always accurate, high resolution, continually updated representations of the earth''s properties, available on demand* Support automated feature extraction, physical and activity models, and position, navigation, and timing (PNT) resilience Qualifications Required skills: * Expert in photogrammetry as applied to remote sensing and image registration* Expertise with optical sensor Line of Sight models for complex systems, including advanced non-axisymmetric systems and those with movable optical elements, and inclusion of numerical models* Expert knowledge of geometric calibration, including stellar calibration, simulation of sensor geolocation accuracy and robust error propagation* Familiarity with photogrammetric and related standards and with NGA tools and products such as Community Sensor Models, Measurement Support Program and Digital Point Positioning Data BaseEducation Minimum Requirements: * 13 years of experience and an MA/MS degree in Photogrammetry, Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines* OR in place of an MA/MS degree in Photogrammetry, Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines, you must have a BA/BS degree in in Photogrammetry, Physics, Optics, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines and 15 years of experience within a discipline relevant to the work associated with the positionClearance: * You must possess a current Top-Secret Personnel Security Clearance and be eligible for favorable NGA adjudication for SCI access* You may also be subject to a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph, as requested by the GovernmentLocation/Travel Requirements: * You may be required to travel from Springfield to other NGA locations, other US Government locations, and Contractor facilities, as well as NGA partner sites worldwide in support of NGA activitiesLI-JW1 MTSIjobs mtsi
