Computer Programmer with Security Clearance

Job Description Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) are teaming together to provide systems engineering, software engineering, logistics, technical, and management support services to multiple program sponsors for 50+ Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) systems. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Provides system design support, operational support, full life cycle support, and repeated examination of support requirements throughout the service life the systems* Analyzes and determines technical training needs, procedures, and programs for selected groups* Ensures consistent application of training standards* Plans, evaluates, organizes, and develops training curricula, and materials to meet specific training needs* Maintains record of training activities and participant progress* Assists in the monitoring of the effectiveness of the programs* Stays abreast of new training methods and may determine relevancy to the current training curricula* May be involved in the enhancement of existing programs* May facilitate training during introduction of new courses* May research outside training resources* May provide instruction and guidance to trainers Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:* One (1) year of software programming experience* Must be proficient in Python 3.x, QlikSense, R 4.x, and SQL Server, or Unity Engine (with XR SDK), or Unreal Engine 4.25+/5+ (with Oculus/HoloLens2+)DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:* Eight (8) years of experience, to include: * Software design, development, and Test and Evaluation* Five (5) years of programming experience with PEOC4I Projects programming languages* Four (4) years of experience to include: * Database development, Web page design, Computer Based Training, development using .NET tools and .net Integrated Development Environment tools, asp.net, SQL Server 2000, and HTML editor tools* Experience may be achieved simultaneously* Must be proficient in: * C 8.x, C++ 17.x, Cuda 11.x, Java SE 14.x, JavaScript ECMAScript 2020, Kotlin 1.x, Microsoft Windows XP/7/10+, Objective-C 2.x, Python 3.x, QlikSense, R 4.x, Ruby 2.x, SQL Server 2019, Swift 5.x, Unix (Ceylon 1.x), Unix (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x), Unix (Solaris 11.x), Unity Engine (with XR SDK), Unreal Engine 4.25+/5+ (with Oculus/HoloLens2+), as well as in the use of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) in source coding software applications* At least three (3) years of notable experience supervising large software programsSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET/SCI ELIGIBILITY ABOUT US Scientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
