For more information, visit . SUMMARY The Case Manager I will assist applicants for Special Immigrant Visas with travel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Communicate by email with applicants for Special Immigrant Visas regarding their readiness to travel. * Build flight manifests at the direction of C/ARE team following standard procedures and format. * Monitor a shared email box for responses and inquiries. Responds to inquiries using pre-cleared language when appropriate. Consults with C/ARE and CA SMEs on case-specific inquiries that cannot be answered with standard responses. * Communicate with identified travelers regarding flight logistics. * Conduct data entry of key information (travel documents, family members, etc.) required for travel and manifesting purposes. * Respond to reporting tasks and inquiries from C/ARE leadership and other C/ARE teams. * Review and updates case management system to track completed travel; follows up with any travelers who did not board a flight as scheduled. * Perform other job-related duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * One-year experience working in an embassy or consulate. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Requires SECRET Security Clearance. * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite). * English language (written and spoken) communications skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities and work well in a multi-cultural team environment. * Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Must pass a federal background check and a drug screen. * Ability to work independently to assess priorities and manage daily coordination of details with minimal supervision. WORK ENVIRONMENT * Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled office environment. As a result of the injunction, Cherokee Federal is halting the enforcement of the mandate, however, if the injunction is lifted and the mandate remains, Cherokee Federal must reenact its vaccine requirement.
