Network Architect

Job DescriptionJob Description: Client requires a network architect to work with infrastructure vendors to review infrastructure logs, configuration files for authorized equipment and current circuits to determine current redundancy and resiliency for critical systems. Client requires a network architect to work with infrastructure vendors for networking and security to review current infrastructure logs and determine the as-is state for the primary location. Client is moving into the COV network and requires resiliency and redundancy at the emergency operations center to ensure availability of mission essential functions for day-to-day operations and emergency activations. As the agency continues to grow its reliance on networking for information systems and telecommunications, a plan for the next generation of bandwidth and capacity planning will be required as part of this engagement.Required / Desired Skills. Demonstrated experience analyzing network data to determine current baseline and identify issues with network performance. Required 8 Years Demonstrated experience in capacity planning for a high availability network environment to ensure security, resiliency and redundancy. Required 8 Years Ability to work collaboratively with multiple vendors to create network architecture diagrams for as-is and future state. Required 8 Years Experience in network administration (DHCP, DNS, routers, firewalls) as part of a larger, distributed WAN environment. Required 8 Years Experience in design and implementation of network(s) in a high availability environment (24x7x365).Required 5 Years Experience with AV/VTC networks. Highly desired 4 Years Experience with VoIP systems.Highly desired4 Years
