Exciting opportunity to work within the Simulation & System Test (SST) F-35 System Integration & Test (SI&T) Simulation/System Integration Labs (SIM/SIL) Verification & Validation (V & V)team. This position is for F35IAB Verification and Validation Data Engineer Sr. The F35IAB Data Engineer Sr should have a strong background in data analytics to join the team, develop actionable metrics and models to make data-based decisions. Focused primarily on performing Validation and Verification tests for the various capabilities and systems incorporated in the simulated F-35 model. The position involves processing data and assessing the results, as well as interfacing with the software development system engineers in the team to improve upon the existing suite of tools and the overall analytic processes. The selected candidate will leverage strong data analysis skills from every step of the analytics pipeline (collection, wrangling, cleaning, analysis, modeling, visualization, presentation) in order to achieve success in his/her projects. Tools and technologies which the candidate will use and need to be familiar with include Linux, Python, and MATLAB. This position requires analytical skills and ability to organize large amounts of data in a presentable fashion. Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance after starting. This position will also require unique program security clearance.Basic Qualifications:-Bachelor''s or Master''s degree from an accredited college or university in a STEM or related disciple ( Physics, Data Science, Data Analysis or Mathematics) -Experience with analysis or verification and Validation.Desired Skills:- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Experience in development of System Requirements or Design.- Familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems Architecture and subsystems. -Experience with producing drawings and modification drawings in VISIO. -Basic MS Office experience. -Familiarity with Linux, Python, and MATLAB, and a background with statistical analysis.-Background with statistical analysis.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
