This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.You''ll bring these qualifications:This requisition may be filled at either a Components Engineer level or Principal Components Engineer level.Bachelor''s degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a related technical disciplineA minimum 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor''s degree; 0 years with a Master''s (Principal level requires 5 years with a Bachelor''s degree; 3 years with a Master''s degree; or 0 years with a PhD)Active Secret Security Clearance with investigation/adjudicated within the last 6 yearsU.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)These qualifications would be nice to have:Familiar with the selection and application electronic components in systems designWorking knowledge of various NASA & Militaryperformance documents required for the selection and screening of Space-level parts, including M38534(Hybrids), M38535 (microcircuits), M19500 (semiconductors), M123 (capacitors), M55342 (resistors), M39016 (relays), M981(magnetics) and various electrical interconnect systems.Working knowledge of Destructive Physical analysis (M1580), Failure Analysis, physics of failure, Root Cause & Corrective Action, component specifications, component screening & qualification, component application qualification, and related installation/assembly process specificationsKnowledge in the following MIL standard documents: MIL-PRF-38534 for Hybrids, MIL-STD-1580 for DPA, MIL-PRF-38535 for Microcircuits (ICs), MIL-PRF-19500 for Semiconductor Devices or TOR-2006(8583)Experience in parts, materials and process selection, manufacturing support, failure analysis, and processing of materials for space hardwareDOD Top Secret clearance or SCI accessGBSDsystemsSalary Range: $71,100 USD - $106,700 USDSalary Range 2: $87,600 USD - $131,400 USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
