Description Job Summary: VSolvit is currently seeking a Configuration Analyst I to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client located in Fall brook, CA. The client provides Operations Support Services to support full spectrum life cycle engineering and test support to verify the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of DoD Expeditionary and Special Warfare systems. Support includes services in the following areas: technical documentation flow and management, information and content analysis and management, information assurance and technology support, Project management, and administrative services in clerical and records management. U.S. Citizenship required. Responsibilities: Under immediate supervision, distributes and tracks all change packages resulting from approved Configuration Control Board action. Provides daily support to staff as to change status requirements, deadlines, and problems. Basic Qualifications: * 2-4 years of experience with US Navy ships and shipboard systems in configuration management, acquisition, operation, maintenance, lifecycle sustainment * Experience in design, construction, and fleet introduction of Naval Ships to include design changes, ship alterations and identification of how these alterations affect configuration, operations, training and life cycle sustainment * Must be familiar with NAVSEA and industry standards and best practices for managing shipboard configuration * Experience evaluating and processing ship design Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Proposed Change Work (PCW) submittals * Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process, including regulations, directives, and statutes, the Navy''s application of the DoD acquisition process * Active Secret clearance * BA or BS degree preferred Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with US Navy platforms Company Summary: Join the VSolvit Team!
