Cloud Solutions Architect with Security Clearance

Location: Springfield, Virginia Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Cloud Solutions Architect. The Solutions Architect will bring a strong technical and analytical mindset required to engineer effective solutions. A Federal Services information technology (IT) customer requires support of the enterprise IT environment including data management, strategy, and governance. The Cloud Solutions Architect will understand key principles of data management and stewardship, organize, and manage data assets and their related data policies and business rules, and work closely with business users to understand their data requirements and the analytic insights they need to make data-driven decisions. Duties may include but are not limited to: * Assist in deploying a major data modernization capability in an AWS cloud solutions environment, using both Cloud and Server technologies* Develop and integrate software and systems engineering in support of Amazon Web Services (AWS)-focused development* Configure, administer, and support virtualized server environments in AWS Required Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Senior level experience as a Systems Engineer* Senior-level working experience in government or industry in relevant work areas including DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or system engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture/Cloud environments* Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle Desired Qualifications: * Experience using and configuring a cloud (AWS) environment Education Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Senior level experience as a Systems Engineer Years of Experience: * 10+ years w/ Bachelor''s Degree* 7+ years w/ Master''s Degree Position Type: Full-Time Shift: Day COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT.
