Responsibilities:Lead and manage cross-functional teams with Development, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, International, and Technical Operations in planning the filing, approval and launch of new products or variations to existing products for international marketsBuild strong relationships by continuously interacting through program updates and reviews with all functions and levels of managementDrive effective communications across teams and stakeholdersKeep all cross-functional teams informed of regulatory requirements and emerging issues which may affect the lifecycle of productsProvide project updates via status reports and dashboards on a consistent basis to senior stakeholders about project status, adjustments, and progress and risksApply high performing team methodologies to achieve resultsDrive adherence to operating model processes and portfolio governanceManage relationships with external contracted partners as neededGenerate high quality global strategic integrated program, risk management and communication plans, focused on regulatory and pharmacovigilanceLead collection of project information identifying critical path, constraints, contingencies, communication plans, and risks to achieve project and business objectivesManage shared site(s) for information disseminationDevelop and implement harmonized/standardized project tracking tools, frameworks, techniques and reports/dashboards for analysis and plan optimization, allocation of resources, and on time or better project performanceManages filing and approval plans while ensuring alignment between project, program, and portfolio strategies and plansPerform scenario analysis to optimize plans, mitigate risks, develop contingencies and provide insights into project and portfolio recommendationsApply best practice project management tools, methodologies, principles, and practicesProvide lessons learned, best practices, and resource management recommendations.Seek ways to improve efficiency in current process and lead improvement projects to ensure international regulatory complianceIdentify, create and implement program management processes that satisfy business objects of Horizon internationallySupport life cycle management opportunities as neededThrive in a fast-paced innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficientIntegrate cross-functional issues and balance competing priorities effectivelyCommunicate clearly and present key information objectively and collaborate effectively with managementClearly and concisely communicate/ prepare presentations for all levels of management from executive to manager levelQualifications and Skills Required:Bachelor''s degree required, preferably in life sciences or a relevant fieldAdvanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training6 or more years of industry experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or other healthcare related field required3 or more years of drug development project management experience requiredExperience leading cross-functional projects and teams and working across all areas in the organization and with all levels of management and staffRegulatory experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry required with knowledge of applicable international regulations strongly desired.Drug Development knowledge with basic to strong understanding of other functions relevant to the position which may include: Research, Pre-Clinical, Clinical, Manufacturing & Operations, and CommercialExperience with project management tools, methodologies, principles, and practices as related to the biopharmaceutical Industry, PMP certification preferred and experience in an FDA regulated environment highly desirable Outstanding leadership skills including excellent verbal and written communication skills, an innovative approach to problem-solving, and an integrated view of business and scientific issues Horizon Core Values & Competencies: Growth Manages Ambiguity Strategic Mindset Demonstrates Self-awareness Cultivates Innovation Develops Talent Accountability Drives Results Ensures Accountability Decision Quality Transparency Courage Collaboration Instills Trust Horizon requires all U.S. employees to be fully vaccinated, as a condition of employment, with either Pfizer (fully approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration), Moderna or Johnson & Johnson (currently granted emergency-use authorization by the FDA).
