The Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship OverviewUT Southwestern has the only academic psychiatry program in Dallas. The Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship provides 12-months of structured didactic and clinical experiences, preparing Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Physician Assistants to provide high-quality psychiatric care. Clinical experiences will be at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and affiliated practice sites. Psychiatry APP Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in patient care in an array of settings that reflect all the economic, racial, and ethnic diversity of Dallas, as well as the full range of psychiatric diagnoses.**Candidates must graduate from their advanced practice program by December 2022. For new or upcoming graduates, board certification and licensure are not required at the time of application. There must be a clear plan to obtain certification and licensure immediately after graduation not later than March 1st, 2023.Eligibility RequirementsEDUCATIONGraduate of a master''s degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
