Put simply, we make "Life Good" - from home appliances, consumer electronics, vehicle components, to business innovations in digital signage, air conditioning and LED lighting.We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Procurement Manager on the Regional Procurement Team!ResponsibilitiesResponsible for strategy development and building Playbook for designated commodityLeading sourcing projects to identify, evaluate and select preferred suppliersQualitative and quantitative analysis of suppliers to ensure a project executionContract Management for all designated commoditiesReview supplier''s T''s & C''s, identify potential contract risks, and develop a plan to reduce risksCommunicate those risks to the respective stakeholders to develop best alternative ''Contract'' languages for LGReview suppliers'' price & quality and analyze the cost tableLead and develop cost decomposition analysis leading to the discovery and elimination of wasteDevelop tools & plans to execute systematic & efficient negotiation strategyLead project prioritization and executionLead and influence team and stakeholders on a course of actionFormulate plans with minimal or vague informationGather and analyze key procurement metrics using data collection techniques (downloading of transactional data to spreadsheet format) in order to report results to Senior ManagementLead and develop savings reports, PowerPoint presentations and any other ad hoc reportsPosition will be responsible for communicating with internal stakeholders (internal departments) and external suppliers or 3rd party providersQualificationsBachelor''s degree with 7+ years of procurement experienceCPSM with experience in marketing procurement is a plusFluency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPointKnowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement processesMust be able to develop creative solutions and communicate to internal stakeholders, leadership and suppliersMust be able to become a strategic sourcing expert and be willing to train othersLG Electronics, USA Inc., LG Mobile Research USA LLC, LG Electronics, Alabama, inc., LGEVU and Zenith Electronics LLC provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
