Registered Nurses provide profession nursing care to these residents incorporating the nursing process, the environment, technical equipment and health care member''s .They also provide care to residents including adults and geriatricEssential Key Job ResponsibilitiesUtilize nursing process which includes patient assessments, nursing diagnosis, planning of nursing care, implementing interventions and evaluation of patient status in relationship to the aboveExecutes regimen prescribed by the physician within guidelines of nursing practicePerforms and/or supervises activities/functions which require knowledge and skill level currently ascribed o the Registered Nurse and seeks assistance when these are beyond scope of preparationProvides leadership and direction in the supervision of others carrying out the nursing processQualificationsRequired Education for Staff Job LevelsCurrent Iowa registered Nurse License at time of hireRequired Licensure and Certifications Basic Life support for healthcare Providers from American Heart Association, within 6 months of hire and recertification every 2 years.Mandatory Reporter Abuse training within 30 days of hire and recertification every 3 years.
