Meta is looking to expand its existing team focused on enterprise network engineering.A Network Engineer will have responsibility to design, implement, manage and maintain a global enterprise network with a variety of cutting-edge platforms. A successful candidate will help develop and understand requirements from internal customers and create technical solutions to improve productivity and services. A candidate must have a strong technical background, be innovative and agile, collaborate well in a team environment, and have very strong communication skills a visionary who challenges the status quo and believes that collaboration technologies can level-up productivity.Required Skills: Wireless Network Engineer - Enterprise Network Responsibilities:Contribute to requirement analysis, engineering design, solution development and ongoing management of a multi-vendor enterprise WiFi network terface with InfoSec teams to design and continuously deliver security-related enhancements.Partner with network operations and deployment teams to analyze data and performance metrics to improve reliability and resiliency of the wireless network.Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events and minimize operational complexity.Optimize the network in every way possible.Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of experience with the following technologies/protocols: 802.1X, 802.11, unlicensed Radio Frequency planning (2.4 & 5GHz).5+ years of experience with designing, building, and operating WiFi networks.4+ years of experience with Layer 2 Switching protocols and associated enhancements such as STP, LACP, 802.1[d|s|w], or 802.1x etc.1+ years experience in programming or scripting to automate/build etc.Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge of controller-based & controllerless enterprise wireless architectures, monitoring systems, and RADIUS infrastructure.Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4 and IPv6 and related network services (e.g. DHCP and DNS).Hands-on experience designing, configuring, optimizing WiFi networks with knowledge of RF design and latest 802.11 standards.Detailed understanding of tooling and automation to configure, manage and operate the network.Experience working with Enterprise network OEMs hardware (Cisco, Aruba, Mist).CWNE, CCIE Wireless, ACMX, or equivalent level preferred.Expertise in troubleshooting WiFi connectivity and performance issues using WLAN controllers, over-the-air packet capture analysis and spectrum dustry: InternetEqual Opportunity: Facebook is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
