The incumbent interact at all levels of the business, including our General Manager, production managers, and our Shop associates. We are looking for an individual who wants to learn our business, and products to enable further growth and career development. The primary responsibility is ensuring existing product performance, certification of new products and failure analysis. Secondary responsibilities include product design improvements, project management and test lab support. Major Responsibilities: Leads product failure analysis and corrective action projects. Leads projects to improve product safety, quality, and cost of existing products. Leads projects to certify new products or modify existing certifications. Required Education / Experience / Skills: Bachelor''s degree in engineering and 2 years of work experience in a quality, design, or manufacturing engineering role Experience testing product performance Ability to analyze and interpret data - six sigma a plus Basic knowledge of injection molding, stamping and product assembly Basic knowledge of materials and specifications SolidWorks or related experience Proficient in MS Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access a plus)
