Senior Azure Engineer - Remote

TITLE: SENIOR AZURE ENGINEER Location: Remote in the U.S. ICS is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, with Azure cloud experience, who will be responsible for the design, migration, development and implementation of efficient applications and services for the Azure Platform; from an infrastructure perspective. It will be focused on both Architecture and Engineering. This is a technical Infrastructure focused role and will be highly involved with projects by providing technical expertise and strategy (both tactical and strategic) around application migration, infrastructure and platform as a service, hybrid operations between a few on-prem servers and our cloud tenant(s). The ideal candidate will be resilient and flexible and own cloud infrastructure within the environment. What You''ll Do: * Drive design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure * Apply knowledge of the business to customize reports and deliver meaningful information. * Review reports to identify data integrity issues and provide feedback to application/database administrators to ensure any issues are addressed. * Answer questions from end-users to provide additional context. * Focus on providing value in these areas with an absolute commitment to secure operations is mandatory. * Identify, communicate, and mitigate Risks, Assumptions, Issues throughout full life cycle while securing, managing, and monitoring Azure environments * Must be customer and delivery focused to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines * Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices * Apply foundational knowledge to develop, optimize and maintain reports and dashboards. * Analyze information to determine business needs from requests and implement effective technical solutions by providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner and explain and interpret complex, difficult, or sensitive information. * Lead small projects and play a significant role in larger, more complex initiatives. Skills / Experience You Will Need: * 8 or more years of Infrastructure/Systems Engineering experience * 5 or more years of being in an Azure cloud infrastructure environment * Deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build and deployment, including public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, and identity * Experience with networking and security concepts, methods and technologies in large scale, production Azure and hybrid environments * Extensive experience with Azure Active Directory, On-Prem Exchange, O365, Virtual Networks, and group policy * Experience with log collection tools and analysis, as well as infrastructure performance monitoring tools and optimization practices * Experience in architecting and designing Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies * Knowledge of and experience with cloud security controls including conditional access policies, tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc. * Possess technical and engineering skills, enabling the creation of future-proof, complex global solutions * Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills that are required to operate as a leading member of globally distributed team to deliver quality services and solutions * Ability to rapidly gain knowledge of the organizational structure of the firm to facilitate work with groups outside of the immediate technical team * Bachelor''s degree or equivalent and five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Previous experience in managing and planning projects.
