Job DescriptionThe STEMI Program Manager is accountable for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the SLHS STEMI Program. Participates in program planning, organization and development with System leadership. Ensures compliance with local, state, TJC and national guidelines and standards in the care of the STEMI patient population. The position collaborates with specialty care departments, CCC program manager and patient care units regarding all aspects of STEMI care from pre-hospitalization to rehabilitation and serves as liaison between the hospital, other SLHS system facilities, physician practices and EMS personnel. Additional duties include performance improvement data collection, organization of process improvement projects, and review and trending of quality metrics. The STEMI Program Manager acts as a resource facilitating staff development and other special projects.
