Child Care WorkerResponsibilitiesActs as a shift lead for the AM, PM, or Overnight ShiftEnsures that all required paperwork and shift responsibilities are completedProvides line-of-sight supervision of up to 9 program youthAssists with transportation of program youth to school, scheduled appointments, court dates and home visitsProvides milieu-based and community-based services to an acute psychiatric youth populationDocuments services according to program and state licensing standardsFlexible schedule, including weekends and holidays is requiredIs expected to engage in physical management and crisis management (TCI) skills.QualificationsAt least a bachelor''s degree in Human Services field, Master''s degree preferredPrevious experience in a child welfare, hospital, or residential setting preferredMust be able to transport youth as needed in personal vehiclePrevious knowledge of childhood trauma and trauma-informed program interventionAdditional Benefits/PerksLawrence Hall will be providing stipends to any employee who is approved to transport youth in their own vehicle as part of their duties.
