Maintenance Technician

Safely operate and maintain the Automated People Mover (APM) system at the Denver International Airport, including routing, recovery, and preventive maintenance of all primary and secondary systems and subsystems. Systems include communications, reporting, data collection, monitoring, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic. This is a union position with a starting pay of $37.58/hr. Because this is a 24/7 operation, candidates must be able to work any shift and holidays.Responsibilities: Operate and troubleshoot entire system during revenue service .Recover malfunctioning vehicles from system as needed .Maintenance and repair of electrical systems and subsystems .Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems .Continuous learning and progression through training program . Requirements: 2 years of experience in maintenance and/or repair capacity, electro-mechanical preferred . 2-year degree in mechanical or electrical discipline; trade school or military MOS school in technical area acceptable . Valid drivers license. Must be able to pass DHS background check and drug screen.
